 Whilst filming in America the we liased with the mayor of Hartford, Connecticut to help promote links between the two namesake towns. Funding has now been raised to erect a statue of Samuel Stone, protagonist of 'Pure Freedom', identical to the one which stands in Hertford, England. The statue will stand outside City Hall for the first year before being moved to the graveyard where Thomas Hooker and Samuel Stone are buried. |
 Local reporters were invited to a press screening of 'Pure Freedom', their reviews and reports on the filming were pubilshed. |
